Giving Thanks for All the Women

Hey Everyone!

I am shouting out all Women near and far this month for International Women's Day, Week, Year, and Hour. Quite frankly, everyday is our day. Many of you are a source of strength, resilience, grit, love just to name a few adjectives in your respective communities. Couldn't let the weekend go by without acknowledging all that we do and all that we bring to the world. Alicia Keys said it best, "Women are the fabric of all things". I am taking a moment to honor us -- because we are truly special beings. I am proud to be a Black Woman and I show tremendous gratitude to each and every one of you that is reading this, that are Women. Thank You for being you.

Preparing for the Work Week Ahead

As we forge ahead in getting ready for the work week, I wanted to give you all a sweet treat that you could make as a snack, dessert or show off to friends and family. I know that I have been sharing recipes for hearty lunches and dinners, but this time I wanted to give you all a decadent sweet treat that you can enjoy after a long day that is super easy to put together. This one is definitely a crowd pleaser.
