There's Nothing Like a Tried and True Snack

Greetings Y'all and Happy Weekend and Spring!

How have you been doing with your snacking? If you are anything like me, I love to grab small bites in between meals but in the past, I have felt guilty with my selections because they weren't all the way healthy. As you navigate your work-week, I understand how important it is to make choices that support your overall well-being. With that said, I am offering you three tips that will help you choose healthier snacks, even when things are crazy busy.

Tip One - Plan and Prep Ahead: Preparing healthy snacks in advance can save you time and prevent impulsive unhealthy choices. Take a few minutes each week to plan and prep your snacks, such as slicing up fresh fruits and vegetables, portioning out nuts or trail mix, or making homemade energy bars. Having these wholesome options readily available will ensure you have a nutritious snack on hand when hunger strikes.

Tip Two - Opt for Nutrient-Rich Options: Rather than reaching for sugary or processed snacks, focus on choosing nutrient-dense options. Incorporate snacks that are rich in fiber, protein, healthy fats, and vitamins. Examples include Greek yogurt with berries, hummus with sliced veggies, a handful of nuts, or a piece of fresh fruit with nut butter. These choices will provide sustained energy, keep you fuller for longer, and support overall health.

Tip Three Mindful Snacking: Practice mindful snacking by being present and attentive to your eating experience. Slow down and enjoy each bite, feeling the texture and flavor of your snack. This allows you to fully enjoy and appreciate your food, while also enabling better digestion and satiety cues. Avoid distractions, such as working at your desk or watching TV, and find a calm environment where you can fully focus on your snack.

I wanted to leave you with this recipe that I absolutely love -- This is my tried and true snack...good night or day. This snack is delicious, easy to put together, super healthy and loaded with good stuff. This snack is great if you want a quick treat late in the evening (I don't suggest you do this often), but certainly wonderful for the work week during the day. It is our Unexpected Midnight (or Mid-day) Snack. And it's unexpected because it tastes so damn good!

Check out this recipe this week. I am dropping the YouTube Video Here for you to see how to put it together. You will be eating in less than 15 minutes. If you decide to try it out, lemme know how it turned out for you.

Masterclass Replay is Now Available

We had such a great time this week during the Super Spring Reboot Masterclass. The conversation was wonderful and rich. If you missed it, here is the replay from the first day for you to check out. You can get the REPLAY HERE.

Alright...That's it for now!

Enjoy the rest of your weekend and I will see you soon!

Kisses and Hugs
