Nyansapo Wellness Institute, Inc. (NWI) is a full service wellness company that offers a variety of services that strives to meet professional health seekers of color where they are on their plant-based transition journey. NWI offers plant-based meal prep services, cleanses, health coaching, educational experiences and culinary training. NWI's mission is to educate individuals and communities how to make healthy lifestyle choices grounded in evidence-based practices. NWI offers practical techniques and lifestyle medicine tools to help health seekers learn the value in food preparation, effective chronic disease management, body detoxification and healthy sustainable weight-loss. NWI strongly believes that everyone has the capacity to heal themselves when supported with the proper tools, time and conscious mindset. Our mission is to help health seekers to realign with their ancestral roots so that they can become more empowered and thrive. Our core values are grounded in love for others, a deep passion for wellness and building a strong connection to the community at large.

My goal is to show you how easy it is to transition to a plant-based diet and how to incorporate other holistic practices to achieve balance. I am also very passionate about sharing with others the benefits of using certified pure essential oils in order to maintain balance in the body and mind. I offer essential oil wellness coaching and classes and food preparation services including healthy plant-based meal planning and the Essential Meals 2Go! meal service. I also strive to introduce others to plants as a natural solution to regain their health in order to experience true wellness and vitality. 

In addition to my work with plant-based foods and health coaching, I co-founded the lifestyle brand, Eat. Move. Be Well., with Jamila Norman, founder of Patchwork City Farms. This is an initiative focused on incorporating more fresh and living foods. We curate plant-based detox experiences for individuals who are passionate about healing and wellness. I am also a contributing author in the recent anthology, Awakened to Wellness: Real Wellness Leaders with Powerful Stories & Simple Solutions to Shift Your Legacy, which is a publication including 11 women and their journeys of transformation and awakening to the wellness space. This book is published by Legacy Holistic Healthy Institute. 

Just a little about my background, I studied raw food preparation at the Living Foods Institute in Atlanta. I also studied Integrative Nutrition Health Coaching at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and completed the training program. I also completed a second health coaching training with Legacy Holistic Health Institute. During my training, I was exposed to many dietary theories, practical lifestyle management techniques, and innovative coaching methods with some of the world's top health and wellness experts that I will share with you! I am currently the resident holistic health coach at Mind Body Spirit Wellness Center, located in Marietta, Georgia. I hold a PhD in Mathematics Education from the University of Georgia, Masters in Applied Mathematics and MBA in Finance from Clark Atlanta University and Bachelors of Science in Mathematics from Spelman College.​

I have a few places that I call home. I am originally from Guyana, South America. I grew up in Brooklyn, New York but currently reside in Atlanta, GA. I am the mama of two gorgeous boys and the wife of an awesome man that is my best friend.
